"I really believe that people can think and reflect on camera. The interview process for me isn't about picking someone's brain for facts or a set story... it's about having a conversation where everyone involved learns something new.
The same is true for corporate or non-profit promotional films. I truly believe in bringing an independent and unconventional style to every film I make. People are really passionate about the organizations and companies they work for and I find myself unable to avoid absorbing some of that passion. Broadcast Documentary Seth traveled the country in a converted greyhound bus talking with seniors about the realities of growing old in america. 6 segments from the road aired on Retirement Living Television. -
Keep and Remember
Theatrical Feature Documentary For a generation of Jews growing up during soviet times, it was forbidden to learn their history, culture and language. Now, after the liberation of Ukraine, this aging generation only now discovers their identity and builds a Jewish life from scratch. In order to appeal to a broader audience, Seth and his producers at the Wolk foundation depended on non-religious imagery and secular music to tell this universal story of loss and renewal. -
GLAD's 30th Anniversary
Non-profit Promotional Documentary Boston based Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders has an incredible history of improving civil rights for the LGBT community through cutting edge law suits and other legal actions. After speaking with Plaintiffs, Lawyers and community leaders Seth collaborated with his clients at GLAD to produce a film in the style of THIS AMERICAN LIFE.
